What your customer sees
after they scan the code.
A single QR code on Buck Naked packaging opens the path below. No checkout change, no app, no platform integration — it works the same whether the product sold on your site, on Amazon, or off a shelf.
Prepared for Bucked Up — Buck NakedOn the package
The customer scans the code
This is the Buck Naked code. Each Medpaid Link code is product-specific — Medpaid already knows which product the customer is holding, so nothing has to be typed in or looked up.

First stop
A Bucked Up-branded education page
The code lands on a Bucked Up-branded page for that Buck Naked purchase. It explains what a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is, what the customer gets, and what it costs — before they commit to anything. Most customers have never heard of an LMN, so this page does the explaining rather than your support team.
What’s included
- Online medical assessment
- Review by a licensed medical practitioner
- Letter of Medical Necessity for qualified products
- Customer support
One-time $9.99
Assessment fee, per product.
Payable with HSA/FSA funds.
Second stop
The health assessment — about two minutes
The customer answers a short structured health questionnaire: contact details, date of birth, state of residence, HSA/FSA provider, and the conditions the product relates to. They attest to their own answers and cannot complete it on behalf of anyone else.

Third stop
Practitioner review, then payment
A licensed medical practitioner reviews the submitted assessment individually. Determinations are typically reached within minutes, though they can take up to 24 hours.
Bucked Up can leave the $9.99 assessment fee with the customer or subsidize it. When the customer pays it, the fee itself can be paid with HSA/FSA funds. Either way, it is billed separately and is never bundled into a transaction rate.
End of the path
The LMN arrives by email
The approved Letter of Medical Necessity is emailed to the customer, along with instructions for submitting it to their own HSA/FSA provider. One LMN covers one product and stays valid for 12 months from the date of issue — so repeat purchases of that product are already covered.
Where that leaves Bucked Up
- Buck Naked becomes purchasable with pre-tax dollars — customers may save 20–40% — without Bucked Up discounting a cent.
- Nothing changes in your checkout, your fulfillment, or your platform. The path lives entirely on the packaging.
- It works in channels where you have no storefront at all — retail shelves, marketplaces, wholesale.
- Every completed assessment returns customer contact data to your Medpaid portal.
Medpaid provides HSA/FSA eligibility verification and post-purchase reimbursement facilitation. Medpaid does not perform IIAS substantiation, does not manage health savings accounts, and does not guarantee reimbursement — the final reimbursement determination rests with the customer’s HSA/FSA provider. Products are reviewed by licensed medical practitioners for eligibility under IRS Publication 502; eligibility is not the same as approval, and no entity “approves” a product for HSA/FSA. Not all customers qualify. Savings figures reflect the tax advantage of using pre-tax funds and vary by individual tax situation.
Partners: the compliance language on this page is fixed and must not be edited, paraphrased, or extended. Questions about claims go to Medpaid before they go to a client.
