What does the Medpaid integration cost on top of Checkout Champ?
Medpaid’s standard pricing applies: $500 one-time setup, a $500/month minimum, and 6.5% per HSA/FSA transaction. The $3 per-product health assessment fee is a separate line item — it is not included in the transaction percentage.
How do HSA/FSA subscriptions work?
The customer completes a health assessment at first checkout. A licensed practitioner reviews it and, if appropriate, issues a Letter of Medical Necessity valid for 12 months. Recurring subscription orders are then funded from the customer’s HSA/FSA card. Final reimbursement determinations rest with the customer’s HSA/FSA provider.
Can Shopify merchants use this?
Yes. Shopify merchants can use Checkout Champ as a bolt-on checkout layer without migrating their entire store. This gives them access to native HSA/FSA-eligible checkout that is not available through Shopify alone.
